HUSEMAN GROUP

CO-OP

My co-op at Huseman Group was a chance to grow into my professional self. I connected with a wide range of people, from office staff to field teams, and gained confidence learning how to communicate effectively with different kinds of professionals, all while navigating the challenge of keeping six distinct brands consistent.

DISCIPLINES: MARKETING, SOCIAL MEDIA, BRANDING, PHOTOGRAPHY

marketing

On the marketing side of my role, I helped shape how the company presented itself to both internal teams and the public. I created content for social media, designed print and digital materials to support campaigns, while also working on signage and branded pieces that reinforced the company’s identity.

Internal Marketing

One way I contributed to internal marketing was by producing weekly “Feel Good Friday” emails, social media style graphics highlighting positive moments within the company with the intention of engaging employees and celebrating company wins.

social media

I designed social media posts for all six companies, creating content that highlighted projects, company culture, and achievements while keeping a consistent brand voice across each business.

I designed custom hard hat stickers with numbers to identify which job site employees are on, turning a practical tool into a bold, branded visual element.

print materials

I designed a variety of print materials, including management team directories, onboarding forms, company competency and revenue packets, as well as materials for ribbon cuttings and groundbreaking events, ensuring everything was on-brand.

I developed the branding for “The Armory,” the company’s equipment hub, creating a cohesive visual identity for the team that manages the daily lives of our field employees.

Photography

I handled a range of company photography, including professional headshots, on-site job documentation, and event coverage. These photos not only showcased the company’s people and projects but were also used in proposals and bid documents to visually communicate our work and capabilities.

I photographed on-site projects, capturing the work in action while building connections with the field teams and documenting the people behind each job.

Jobsites

I set up a streamlined headshot process for new hires, moving away from the previous phone photos. Later in the semester, I worked with each of the six companies to refresh existing headshots, photographing both office and field employees to create a cohesive, professional look across the organization.
